Me and Sarah on Brighton beach. |
We went to a great Latin place which served the best mojitos with a bit of champagne for an extra kick, very nice indeed. The food was lovely, though we booked the table thinking it would be packed me and Sarah were the only ones in there for a very long time. Which was weird at first but thinking about it had loads of plus sides to it, having the waitress and barman to are selves and no one coughing or sneezing around me and no long wait for food, Perfect! After the food and a few drinks we moved on to Revolution and then the R-Bar which is right on the sea front. We were tucked up in bed by 12 so it wasn't as hardcore as some other peoples night out but i had a whale of a time.
We spent the rest of the weekend on the pier spending lots of money on the slots. Sarah spent a lot of time on the the 2p machines i had to feed her habit so she could guard the machine. But she won three meercat china things, so very worth it. I really enjoyed the Deal or No Deal game were you win tickets but i wasn't to bothered about dealing and kept trying to go to the end hoping i had the 100 tickets but i never did.. Guys don't swap your box! Your regret it. My greatest achievement was winning a lobster toy for Sarah on a Dolphin Racing Game which you throw your balls down the alley and you have to get them in the holes scoring points making your Dolphin move forward. I came first but there was only two of us but i was proud, he had nothing on me. That's also were the title of the blog came from, also Sarah spent most of the weekend singing a song about a Rock Lobster.
Sarah wanted a purse so we went down to the lanes which are great i love all the unique bits and bobs you can lay your hands on. I just got tired very quick being theres so much to see in Brighton but lucky enough are hotel is close to everything and not far away at all, so id be able to go back and nap like the wild one i am. The weather was great and it was just awesome to get away for the weekend and go out and see something new. I'm a big fan of Brighton just wished i had more energy to do everything but all in good time.
So i spent my valentines at hospital all day but i was with Sarah so it wasn't so bad. I ended up needing blood which took over 2 hours per unit and i had 2 units and one bag of platelets which comes to 4 hours and half.. Lame but gotta be done. So spent longer then expected, but luckily the Clic Sargent also called Sarah came and brought us things to do like colouring and copper drawing to pass the time. I guess its not your most romantic day but at least we were together and who can say they did the same? :D

Hey katie Its Sarah from work, just found your blog through facebook, it's realy kool, hope you keep at it! Just wanted to let you know that I too have a slight addiction to the Deal or no deal games and I won the 100 tickets one time at chesington. I was realy happy with my self but then didnt realy want the tickets so i left them in the bottom of a machine in the hope a little kid would find them and get excited. Anyway so jealous of your macbook :)
