I'm Cruising for a Bruising.

Hey peoples! I'm sitting here blogging in the Royal Marsden and stealing their wifi, I'm waiting for 2 units of platelets to prepare me for my Lumber puncture. As my counts are 29 and should be 50 its not the most pleasant of procedure's but its gotta be done. So I'm going to update you on my latest events I've had such a good weekend i finally got my new car which was provided by the Motability scheme which if you have a high rate disability allowance you can exchange for a nice new car. I know it sounds like I'm promoting it but i just think its such a good scheme for people who need travel. The Hospital is 40 minutes away from me but i know some people travel over 2 hours some days, not including traffic. I've linked it for anyone who might be interested.

MY NEW RIDE.
I haven't drove for over 7 months, so getting back in the driving seat was a bit weird but felt oh so very good at the shame time.  I was a bit worried about driving again, and it didn't help when i got in the driving seat that two police cars pulled up behind me. Not exactly a good start but they drove of, took me a little while to get back in the swing of it. I drove all around and then me and Sarah went up all around the area I live so I could get back into the swing of things. I drove up the Hospital today no glitches or accidents so it was all good. I've missed the silly things like singing my heart out with the radio full blast and having the freedom to drive when ever or wherever i like. So beware because I'm back on the road!

I'm currently plugged in to my first bag, got a hour or so till possible LP but no doubt take a few but I'm not to fussed as I'm pretty distracted by blogging. Also keep getting distracted by other things chatting away to people but its always nice to catch up and see everyone. Just chatting to a guy who's been to the "find your sense of tumour" the year before and says its a really good experience. So I'm really looking forward to going and pretty excited. Only a week or two to go!

Take care and keep smiling!
:)
